OK I am installing my 898 so that I can easily take it from the console and plub it into my cords on the bow and use the down sonar and the traditional sonar up front. Here lies my Question.

I purchased the SI Transducer XHS 9 HDSI 180T.....And it sems when it is put together the transducer is at a wiered angle....It does not go to a 90 degree position....Can this still be used as a transducer for the trolling motor? (Motorguide no built in transducer)

If anyone is using a similar set up could you e-mail me some advice and pictures....Thanks
